WELCOME

Welcome to North Eagle River Physical Therapy. We are a locally owned clinic that specializes in Orthopedic rehabilitation to treat conditions that affect the skeletal system. An individualized course of therapy is laid out and administered one-to-one between therapist and patient. Our therapist is trained to treat the entire body, and the length of therapy needed depends greatly on the severity of your condition. We are here for you and look forward to developing a one-to-one relationship with you and your provider.

The human musculoskeletal system is a truly astounding mechanism. Made up of the body’s bones, muscles, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, joints and other connective tissue, the musculoskeletal system’s primary functions include supporting the body in an upright position, allowing motion and locomotion and protecting vital organs, such as the brain and heart. The skeletal system also serves as the main storage system for vital minerals, like calcium and phosphorus, and contains the critical components of the body’s blood supply.

Restoring the human musculoskeletal system to its best possible condition is what North Eagle River Physical Therapy is all about. Our therapist has devoted their life to the study of orthopedics and the treatment of musculoskeletal trauma, sports injuries, and degenerative diseases. In fact, few therapists in Alaska have this level of training in orthopedic manual therapy.

Orthopedic rehabilitation includes physical therapy to treat conditions that affect the skeletal system. An individualized course of therapy is laid out and administered one-to-one between therapist and patient. Our therapist is trained to treat the entire body, and the length of therapy needed depends greatly on the severity of your condition.

Injuries such as neck and back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, knee and ankle sprains and hip pains can be treated with orthopedic rehabilitation. Rehabilitation is often needed after surgery to aid in the healing process for patients who have had procedures such as a spinal fusion, total hip or knee replacement, or ankle reconstructions. Other conditions that may require rehabilitation include complete shoulder replacements, laminectomies, rotator cuff repairs and meniscectomies.
